The Astukari Newsletter #104
Weekly Update #013
(Taken from LinkedIn)
Since this was Christmas week, I don't have too many updates but wanted to keep the updates consistent. Boys & Girls: Part I of course released on December 21st, with the remaining free chapters being released into February. You can, as always, see more about the series here.
I also did my usual end of the year stuff: My favorites of the year (which I've been doing since 2019) and my 'State of the Union' address on my projects (which I've been doing since 2014!). You can see the VOD where I conduct both of these here.

Updates
Creative Focus: Taking a break for the holidays, but working on B&G Part II and Baby Bird as mentioned in State of the Union!
JBR Focus: Trying to get JBR Courses released by the first quarter of 2023.
Astukari Focus: Doing some changes with the scheduling of stuff here — may do more streams and less blog posts, but like I said this won’t come into play until I’m back from the break.
Other Stuff
Currently Reading: Currently trying to finish up some iPad books I had left over. Just finished Algorithms by Cormen, and the last book on the iPad is… the Bible. It is 2,400 pages, so this one is going to take awhile.
Currently Watching: Now that I’m on break, I have had some time to watch a few movies. Saw both Nope and Everything Everywhere All At Once — I enjoyed both, being pleasantly surprised by the latter. I usually really do not like goofy movies but I feel as though this one handled it well.
Currently Listening: Listened to Little Simz’ No Thank You like I mentioned in the Favorites of 2022, but haven’t listened to much beyond that.
Currently Playing: I brought the 3DS with me to AZ. Currently marathoning to try and beat Fire Emblem Awakening (think I’m pretty close to the end). It’s fun, though I wonder if I should try one of the other games without Classic mode enabled, as I’m terrible at keeping people alive and it seems to have a weird effect on the plot.
