The majestic zeppelin soared through the late afternoon sky, its shadow dancing across the rippling waves of the Gulf of Meria as it made its way back to Enthia. Allana stood at the railing, her soft-spoken voice barely audible over the hum of the engines and the rush of wind.
"Professor Warius," she began, turning to face the charismatic man manning the zeppelin’s helm, "do you know anything about the missing FEA brigade?"
Warius furrowed his brow, the lines on his weathered face deepening with concern. He stroked his stubble thoughtfully before responding, "I haven't looked into it too much." Despite the fact that the woman asking the question was a princess, he still had to keep the FEA’s confidentiality in check.. "How did you come across this information, Your Highness?" His eyes searched hers, looking for a hint of implicit knowledge.
Allana held his gaze, her expression unreadable. She was a master of intrigue after all, a thoroughbred princess who knew when to keep her cards close to her chest. "Many things come across the Capitol," she said cryptically, refusing to reveal her source.
The Wolf, Allana's towering bodyguard, stood silently nearby, his scarred face betraying no emotion. His presence was ever-present, a silent sentinel protecting the princess from harm. It had just now begun to strike Warius how little the man spoke, and how little he knew about him – or the princess, for that matter.
As they docked at the Enthian sky harbor, Captain Calpon appeared to greet them, hurried towards the dock entrance as they landed. His wizened features were etched with worry as he addressed Allana: "Princess, I bring troubling news. Your sister has gone missing in Eyrica."
To Warius' surprise, Allana's reaction was subdued, merely raising an eyebrow at the news. Her stoic demeanor left him puzzled, wondering about the intricacies of her royal family.
"Thank you, Captain Calpon," she replied, her voice steady. "I will attend to this matter personally." With a nod, she dismissed him and carefully stepped down from the zeppelin with The Wolf as her guide.
After they had disembarked and began to walk down the great halls of the university, Warius couldn't help but inquire about Allana's reaction. "Your Highness, forgive me if this is sensitive… I noticed you didn't seem particularly concerned about your sister's disappearance."
Allana glanced at him, her expression softening just a touch. "My sister has always been a troublemaker, Professor," she explained with a sigh. "She often finds herself in precarious situations, but has a knack for getting out of them unscathed. I am sure she will be fine."
Warius nodded, understanding that the dynamic between the sisters was far away from his understanding.
